Dutalosin Tablet MR

Dutalosin Tablet MR (Tamsulosin Hydrochloride 0.4 mg (Modified Release) & Dutasteride 0.5 mg Tablets) is a prescription combination therapy for men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It pairs an alpha-blocker (tamsulosin) that relaxes prostate muscles to improve urine flow with a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor (dutasteride) that gradually shrinks the prostate. This dual approach tackles both symptoms and the underlying cause, but it requires daily use and can take months to show full benefit. Common side effects include dizziness, retrograde ejaculation, and decreased libido.
